Harry Styles had asked me out. Harry flipping Styles had asked me, a US exchange student, out!

And now I was getting ready to go out on a date with him. He told me to wear anything I wanted to, so I looked in my closet for something cute, but comfortable. I finally decided on a textured lace, black and grey top, a pair of light grey washed skinny jeans, coral wedges, a coach swing pack my parents got me for my seventeenth birthday, and a coral bead bracelet to complete the outfit. After straightening the blonde locks that extended past my shoulders, I put on some natural looking makeup to accentuate my blue eyes and thin lips.

Then the doorbell rang.

I nearly tripped over the clothes strewn on my floor, trying to step out of my bedroom and into the hallway to open the door. I turned the knob and pushed it to the side to reveal a very handsome looking Harry. He was dressed down in a pair of dark slims, his signature white Converse, a white scoop neck, and an adorable brown colored beanie taming his curls. His emerald eyes roamed over my outfit, his lips opening to reveal a beautiful, dimpled smile. "Well don't you look gorgeous."

"Why thank you. I feel horribly overdressed now, though." I motioned to his casual attire, leaning against the door frame. It's funny, I was still a few inches shorter than Harry, even with the wedges on.

Harry shook his head. "No, you look fine, babe. In fact, that outfit is perfect for the second part of our date." He winked and held out his left hand. "Are you ready to go?"

I nodded and took his hand, closing and locking the door behind me. We walked out to his sleek Audi and he opened the passenger door for me politely, helping me step in. I strapped the seatbelt across my chest and watched him slide into the driver's seat, doing the same. His movements were fluid as he put the key in the ignition, cranked the car up, then shifted it into drive.

"So," I said as he drove down the streets of London. "Where are we going?"

My date gave me a sideways glance, a mischievous grin crossing his lips. "You'll see." His tone suggested that I would love it. When we pulled up to the back of the Olympic stadium and parked, my eyes widened.

"No. Way!" I exclaimed, taking off my seatbelt after we parked. I jumped out of the car, jumping up and down excitedly. "This is so cool!" I leapt into Harry's arms, surprising him a bit.

I felt his arms wrap around my middle, his hands rubbing my back. "I'm glad you think so." I stood there, content in his embrace, for a few more seconds, then he let go of me. "Come on, I'll make sure you have the best seat for rehearsals." He grabbed my hand and led me into the backside of the huge building.

Louis met us first as we came in. "Hello Harold, Danielle number two." He smiled and hugged me lightly, then clapped Harry on the shoulder. "Are you ready to do this, mate?"

Harry nodded, an excited gleam in his eyes. It was similar to the one I remember seeing when I first met them at a random shop after their Party in the Park show in Leeds. "Of course! Let me just escort Danielle to her seat and I'll be back."

"Haz, they need you now. I'll make sure this one gets the best seat." Louis winked at me cheekily as Harry pouted, reluctantly taking his hand from mine. I laughed, blowing him a kiss as we walked in opposite directions. Louis asked Paul to walk with us to the stadium, so we strolled past fans to the place in front of the moving platform the boys would be standing on as they sang. He escorted me to the seat where I would have the best view. "Here you go, this is the perfect place. I'm sure Harry will take advantage of it as much as you will. Talk to you soon." He winked again and made his way back to where the boys were getting set up.

Within twenty minutes, the guys stood on the platform, waiting for the music to queue them to sing "What Makes You Beautiful". The intro started with the 'na na na's, and then the boys launched into the chorus, Harry waving at me as the platform was driven around the stadium. Zayn's solo in the second verse was spot on; they all sounded amazing, honestly. The only thing I was upset about was the fact that Harry's solo bridge was cut, and I told him that when I was escorted back to where they were chilling.

"Hey, Dani. How was it? Did it sound okay?" Harry asked, patting the empty space beside him.

I sat down, crossing my arms over my chest. "You guys sounded amazing, but I'm upset that they cut your solo."

Harry's arm went around my waist, pulling me closer to him. "It's fine, they had to cut most of the song to fit us in. It's an honor just to be singing here."

I shrugged, chuckling. "Yeah, you're right." I looked over to Zayn, smiling. "I love the new 'do, Zayn. Looks nice."

Zayn nodded, grinning. "Thanks, Danielle. Glad someone likes it. I think the fans are in shock."

Niall walked in, a bag of chips in his hand. He sat on the other side of me, munching away. "Hello Danielle. Nice to see you again." His words were jumbled because of the amount of food in his mouth, but I understood what he said.

"Hi, Niall. Nice to see you too. Eating as always, I see." I chuckled, leaning in to Harry's side comfortably.

Liam sat across from us, silent as he typed rapidly on his phone. "Guess I'm not important enough for Mr. Payne over there to speak to me," I said loudly.

The brunette's spiky head popped up, his eyes locking with mine. "Oh, sorry babe. Texting Danielle all I can while she's on break." He placed his phone in his lap, stretching his arms to rest behind his head. "How've you been?"

"I've been great, actually. Just busy with school and all." I smiled, giggling a bit as Harry's hand tickled my side.

Louis walked in and sat beside Liam. "And texting Curly, of course."

I blushed a bit. "Yeah, that too." I nudged Harry, smiling up at him. He beamed down at me, his cheeks a bit pink. "Oh look at him, he's blushing." I touched the dimple on the right side of his mouth.

Harry shook his head, looking down at his lap. "Am not. It's just hot in here."

Niall laughed. "Oh yeah, Harry. So hot in here. That's why Zayn is wearing a hoodie."

"Shuddup, Niall." Harry reached across me and smacked the blonde in the head lightly.

Surprisingly, Niall just continued eating his chips. "You'd better be glad I'm eating, Styles, and that your girlfriend is in between us."

It was my turn to go pink and look down at my lap. "I'm not his girlfriend."

Harry chuckled and put his mouth close to my ear. "Not yet, anyways." I giggled, hoping in my heart that he was serious. Even though we'd only met about a month ago, we'd been texting nonstop. We'd hung out together before, but never on an official 'date'. I had come to like him a lot. His voice in my ear snapped me out of my thoughts: "Let's go eat something, yeah?"

I nodded and we walked out through the back to his car again. "Harry, why don't we just walk? This thing will draw so much attention to you, you know."

"Would you rather drive or run away from screaming girls?" Harry opened the passenger door for me, raising an eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Fine, we'll drive."

We went to Pizza East, about three miles from the Olympic stadium. Harry had already booked a table in advance, so we didn't have to worry about reservations. I was surprised to find that our table was a bit intimate, with no one around us; I supposed that Harry made sure of that. "Harry, this is wonderful." I smiled at him. "Thank you." I touched his leg with mine softly. He grinned seductively and I felt his leg rub mine a few times. "Oh no, we are not playing footsie, mister." But then, I saw his lips form a pout, and I rolled my eyes. "Fine."

As soon as our server came to wait on us, we stopped, plastering innocent looks on our faces. We ordered our drinks and a large pepperoni pizza with breadsticks. "So, what time do you need to be back at the stadium?"

Harry looked down at his watch. "Uh, in about two hours. Have to get dressed and all pretty, you know." He winked at me.

"Oh please. They could let you go out in a potato sack with bed head and all the girls would still love you," I scoffed.

He raised an eyebrow. "You think so?"

I laughed. "Honestly, yes. They worship you, Harry."

He shook his head. "I don't see why. I'm nothing spectacular. Just a guy living his dreams."

I smiled and rested my hand on his. "You're an inspiration to them, that's why. All of the comments and blogs and stuff I read about you and the guys…it's incredible how much you influence these girls, and even some guys."

"Wow. No pressure or anything." Harry chuckled nervously.

I squeezed his hand comfortingly. "You'll be great."

Once we ate our food and chatted for the next hour and a half, we headed back to the stadium, safely making it there with no run-ins with crazed fans. Harry headed in to get dressed and 'all dolled up', then he came out to wait for his queue to stand on the platform. He bounced up and down, shaking his hair and then smoothing it to the side. I absolutely loved what he was wearing: a royal blue shirt buttoned up all the way, a darker blue blazer and matching pants, a white pocket square, and white Converse. The other lads looked great as well, but Harry always stood out to me, for obvious reasons.

I walked over to them and gave them each hugs for good luck, stopping at Harry last. I put my hands on either side of his face, making him look at me. "Harry, you're gonna be great." I hugged him, then kissed his cheek quickly. "I'll be watching and cheering you on from here, okay?"

He smiled, but I could tell he was still a bit nervous. "Got it. Thank you, Dani."

I nodded, dropping my right eye in a quick wink. "Go rock this place." I followed him partially as he walked out, stopping where my designated spot was. After blowing him a kiss once he was on the platform, I watched him ride away. Once the music started playing, I screamed my loudest, clapping along and jumping up and down. They were fantastic, so full of energy. And they sounded great. When it was over and they rode back on the platform, they all jumped down, pumped with adrenaline. Harry ran over to me, picking me up and spinning me around, yelling "YES!!".

Once he put me down, I clapped excitedly. "Wasn't that the best feeling ever?"

Harry smiled, shaking his head. "Nope. Second best, actually."

"Second best to what?" I was a bit confused to be honest. "What could be better than performing amazingly in front of one billion people?"

He pulled me closer, one hand on my cheek. "This." He smiled slightly before joining our lips together in a warm, fiery kiss. I felt his other arm wrap around my waist, pulling me in so that we were chest to chest.

I drew back, looking up into his emerald eyes, no doubt a dazed expression on my face. "Oh. Definitely."
Harry commission for ~WorshipKingLogan This one was inspired, if not obvious, by the lads performing at the 2012 closing ceremonies of the London Olympics. What an honor, and how great they were. :) I can only imagine being them, about to go on. I would definitely be nervous, no doubt. They did incredible though. Hope you like this, Danielle! Thanks for asking me to write this for you, it's great to know that people like my work well enough to request things. :D

I do not own Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne or anything to do with One Direction. Also, I don't claim ownership of Paul, Pizza East, the Olympic Stadium, Audi, Converse, Coach, or Danielle Peazer.

Favorite, comment, you know the drill. ;)

Oh! And here's Dani's outfit: [link]
